A certified Nutritionist and Life-coach Amy Salman will conduct an in-depth evaluation of your nutritional goals, design a meal plan and provide support catered to those needs.
Testing includes:
- Body composition to assess muscle and body fat levels, including visceral
fat which is closely linked to heart disease - Basal Metabolic Rate assessment: by measuring your resting energy
expenditure we can determine precise daily caloric requirements to achieve
weight goals and maintain them. RMR (resting metabolic rate) can also help
detect overt medical conditions responsible for abnormally low metabolic
rate such as in diabetes, dyslipedemic syndromes, thyroid disorders and
sleep apnea (link to Korr REVUE site) - Blood tests: We use the latest and most advanced lipid profile and
metabolism blood tests for a more comprehensive assessment of how your
body processes cholesterol, carbohydrates and checks for inflammation
levels that make it harder to achieve ideal weight. In addition, we screen
for vitamin deficiencies and heavy metal levels, which can affect your
overall metabolism and make you vulnerable to many chronic illnesses.
